  1. I’m new to all this the doctor told us about it for my 4 year son how may is it free or do I have to pay 10.00 for a family?

    1. Hi, Jean.
There is a $10 entry fee per family for the food fair for non-members. If you become a member of the Denver CSA ($15 per year per family) there is no fee for the food fair. I would encourage you to check out our Cel-Kids program for your son. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  2. Just curious, what is the reasoning behind the fee? In the past it has been free and that is the reason we love to go! I don’t mind supporting the Denver CSA but I’m a little disappointed. Will we have to pay for parking as well?

    1. Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately we can no longer absorb the increased costs of running the fair. You will not have to pay for parking. That is another cost we are partially absorbing.

    1. No there is not a parking fee. The Denver CSA is partially absorbing the parking cost. Looking forward to seeing you at the food fair.

  3. I’m just finding out about the fee as well. It makes it seem like you either join the CSA or pay. I do not agree with the fee. I feel awful for the families struggling with celiac and other diseases but can not afford to enjoy the festival. They are already struggling to pay for gluten free diet now you are charging them to sample food and receive coupons. I cannot in good conscious support this event knowing all the people this will effect and alienate. I’ve attended every year since it started but it looks like last year was my family’s last.

    1. Hi and thanks for your comment. The Denver CSA is a non-profit run by volunteers that relies on membership fees, donations, and sponsorships. We too struggle to pay the increased cost to run the food fair and that is why we are asking for only $10 per household for non-members to attend. If you have any ideas on how we can continue to keep this event free to the public and cover the costs, please let us know! And I would beg you to reconsider attending. The more people we have attend, the more attractive this event is to vendors who are willing to provide sponsorship and vendor fees in order for us to continue to provide this service to the community.

  4. One of my favorite vendors is Udis & Glutino. Are they unable to come this year?

I don’t care about the $10 per family. That, to me, seems reasonable. It’s cheaper than eating out for lunch (which is essentially what we’re all doing). It’s amazing how those tiny samples fill you up!

    1. Yes, unfortunately Udis & Glutino could not attend this year. Thank you for continuing to support and help us provide this event to the community with your attendance!

  5. I have to say thank you for keeping the cost to $10. I was at this event 2 years ago when you paid $10 for parking and the event was free. This is an awesome event. I actually became a member for the $15 because I live with gluten intolerance – disease called eosinophilic esophagitis. This is worth the $10 cost no matter how you look at. Thanks again!

    1. Thank you for the comment, Angella. We appreciate your support of the Denver CSA and for helping us provide this event to the community through your membership and return attendance. See you Sunday!

  6. Paid the 10 dollar fee for the ticket, however didn’t receive any kind of email with an actual ticket. What are we supposed to bring with us to get entry into the event?

    1. Hi, Angella.
No actual tickets will be sent to you. Please bring your ticket request email confirmation or just give your name at the door as you have been added to our list of ticket purchasers.
      See you Sunday!

  7. This was my time attending the Gluten Free Food Fair and it was awesome! I think the $10 entry fee for my entire family is more than reasonable. I’ve told some of my co-workers about the event, and we are all looking forward to the next food fair. Many thanks to CSA!
