Vice President
The Vice President assists with planning and coordination of all chapter activities like board meetings, events, member development, email outreach, etc.
Duties include:
- Manage MailChimp with help of Membership Director, Newsletter Manager, and Events Coordinator
- Assist with purchasing of supplies and booking of event spaces
- Answer questions about the chapter at events and via email
- Organize and participate in chapter board meetings
- Assist in recruiting and evaluating new board meetings, assist with new board member orientation
- Contribute to newsletter as requested
- Assist with event planning as requested
Qualifications:
- Enjoys working and interacting with the gluten free community
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Creative and collaborative approach
- Comfortable coordinating through email, phone, or in-person meetings
Time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per week.
Membership Director
The Membership Director is responsible for maintaining the chapter’s membership.
Duties include:
- Managing loyalty program (sending loyalty cards, soliciting vendors for upcoming year, creating mailings and cards, creating flyers to be used at events)
- Sending emails to acknowledge memberships.
- Answering questions regarding membership.
- Depositing membership dues (as needed)
- Updating the chapter’s membership Excel file and Mailchimp database.
- Participating in chapter board meetings.

- Comfortable coordinating through email, phone, or in-person meetings
Time commitment is approximately 1 hour per week.
