Vice President

I have lived in Colorado for over 30 years and have lived in Thornton most of that time. I have
been married to Tommy for 30 years and have two children Nora who is in college and Jack who
is in high school. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Occupational
Therapy and have been practicing for 30 years. I currently work at a local community acute
care trauma hospital in Thornton.
I love to read, paddle board, take dance classes in jazz, ballet and tap, spend time with my
family and friends and love eating out.
I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2022 and felt very overwhelmed. I did not have friends
that were dealing with this diagnosis and felt very isolated. The Denver Celiac Facebook group
was a huge source of comfort as well as a resource that I could trust. Now that I feel I have
more of a handle on this process I am excited to help others navigate celiac disease as well as
further educate the public. I can’t wait to make connections with the celiac community in Denver.
