A Certified Personal Chef, Barb is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and a Certified Culinary Inspirations Instructor.
Cooking is in Barb’s blood. As a young girl, Barb spent many hours in her Pennsylvania Dutch Grandmother’s kitchen helping to bake goodies like shoofly pie and oatmeal raisin cookies. Etched in those memories was the realization that special things happen in the kitchen.
A Gift of Thyme Personal Chef Service is a culmination of childhood memories, a passion for good food, hard work and fun. In business since 2004, Barb is a “one-woman-wonder” when it comes to solving the “What’s for dinner?” dilemma. Barb became a personal chef in 2004 and earned her advanced certification in 2006. In 2010, Chef Barb was part of the winning Chef’s Knockout team at the US Personal Chef Association national convention.
