Newsletter Manager

I’m originally from Texas and volunteered with the Gluten Intolerance Group of Greater Dallas for many years. I moved to Colorado in 2023 and have enjoyed exploring all the outdoor opportunities the state has to offer. I was so excited to find NCA Denver and learn more about the many events put on by the group.

I was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2012, which was a very long and confusing road, as it is for so many people. I’ve always found the social, emotional, and planning aspects of life with celiac disease to be more challenging than the diet itself. But I’ve never let it slow me down and always try to find the good.

I lived in Spain for a while and have traveled to some beautiful places, including Japan, Iceland, and Portugal, all while navigating gluten-free options. I became a certified travel coach (yes, it’s a thing!) because exploring has been such an important part of my life.

By day, I work in marketing as a content strategist and writer, tackling everything from websites, blogs, and social to executive personal branding. Managing the NCA Denver newsletter is a fun and natural fit!
