I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado where I fell in love with the sunshine and focus on outdoors. I met my husband in Telluride and attended CU Boulder. We have three great kids. I have a degree in Accounting and Information Systems and am currently working on another degree in Nutrition. My husband was diagnosed with Celiac in 2011. Like so many others, we had to replace our diet overnight. The early days were tough, but we had good friends with Celiac who helped us through the transition. I am an avid baker and went about recreating all my favorite recipes in gluten free versions. I remember walking into the Gluten-Free Food Fair for the first time and being so thankful to finally have a resource. I joined the Board to support others taking this same journey.
