I grew up in Las Vegas, NV and moved to Colorado in 2001 to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder. I love the outdoors and always knew I would end up in Colorado. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2005, after struggling with migraines and digestion issues for 3 years. As soon as I was diagnosed I found out about the Denver Celiac Support Group online and have been a member ever since. I joined the board as the VP of Programs in January of 2010. I had always been interested in event planning and found this would be a good way to get my feet wet. The Gluten Free Gallop and the Incredible, Edible Gluten Free Food Fair have become large enough now that I just focus my time on these two events and have passed along the responsibility of the other meetings to others. I am a mother to two amazing sons who are 4 and 6 years old and in our free time you can find us out camping, running, skiing, snow showing, hiking, biking or just having fun outside.
